What is Real Beauty?
These two girls are exactly the same girl. I don't care what anyone else says; they are both happy, pretty, and confident.
Makeup will not make you happier.
Makeup will not make you prettier.
Makeup should not make you more confident.
Be confident in who God made you. Psalm 139:14 says, "You are fearfully and wonderfully made." I'm not trying to bash makeup in any way and me saying this doesn't mean I'm not going to be wearing it anymore. I love makeup and find it a lot of fun! But I do not rely on makeup to make me feel confident. I know God made me perfect; even when the world is telling me otherwise.
The world is constantly telling girls that they are too pale, or their acne in ugly, or their under eye circles are too dark, or their jaw bone isn't defined enough, or whatever it may be. It's always something. Girls will never be perfect without a little touch up right? WRONG.
I hate seeing young girls struggle with self-confidence. It brakes a little piece of my heart. Partly because I was once there too. I would get up hours before I had to go anywhere to do my makeup so I could feel confident.
If you know me now, I bet you have seen me without makeup just as much as with makeup. Over the past couple years I've grown to love my natural face. The freckles, birthmarks, scars, and all.
Don't feel bad about wearing makeup. But also don't feel bad when you don't wear it. Be happy with who God made you. I know this can be challenging at first but you will feel beautiful soon. Real beauty is when you feel beautiful with and without makeup.
