2016 Reflection

2016 Reflection

Yes, I know 2016 has been over for more than a week now but I thought I would share why 2016 was the best year of my life (so far...).

First of all, I have learned and grown a lot this year. The Lord has shown me that He works everything out for the better and that He has a plan. I'm going into 2017 done worrying and I'm totally trusting in God's plan.

Second thing, I got into Photography and Videography in 2016. In the spring for my birthday, I got a GoPro camera and I started making short videos of some of my adventures throughout the year. I made five videos last year (check them out here) and I'm hoping to learn more and make more videos this year. In the summer, I got a DSLR camera and started playing around with it and signed up for a photography class that I'm currently taking this school year. I have really enjoyed learning how to use it and capturing fun moments. I'm looking forward to learning more in 2017.

Lastly, I have done so much of one of my favorite things this year! Traveling! I have gotten the opportunity to travel to 15 different states and a different country all in one year. Traveling more is something I have always dreamed of doing but 2016 I got to live out that dream. I am so thankful that I have been able to travel so much and do hope that I can do more in the future.

Instead of focusing on the negative parts of life or situations, try focusing on the positive. There were so many good things that happened in 2016. Yes, there were also a lot of negatives but the posatives out weigh the negatives by a long shot!

I hope you all enjoyed this post and remember to make the best out of 2017!
