Spontaneous Adventure: Georgia Edition

Adventure to Georgia!

Last week my mom and I took a trip down to Georiga to help one of my mom's friends move. It was a 14-hour drive and we drove there and back over the course of three days (coffee and gummy bears are what kept me going). I wasn't originally going to go but at the last minute I though it could we fun!

When we got to Savannah Georiga there was damage done by hurricane Mathew from just days before. The power was out in parts of town and trees were blocking roads. Construction and power guys were out and about trying to get to town up and running again.

After we were done helping my mom's friend, we were off to the ocean! We drove about 25 minutes from Savannah to Tybee Island. Here the damage from the hurricane was even worse because it's right on the coast. Roofs were blow off houses and power lines were down, but we still managed to find our way to the beach. Although the air was cool, the water was warm. I wanted to jump right in!

This was a fun adventure! I didn't know what I was getting myself into when I agreed to go but I ended up having a lot of fun. Plus I can add it to the places I have been this year! (Georiga was the 13th state I have visited this year.) Sometimes you just have to go on a spontaneous trip where there is little to no planning and you just go and have a good time. And that's exactly what this trip was! I loved it!
